Contact Method Name Field
The Contact Method Name field is meant to collect a user-friendly name for this Contact Method. An example of this user-friendly name is: “Biz Pager” or “Personal Cell” or “Office Email.” As you can see, this not only allows you to identify what type of contact it is, but also what the purpose of the contact is. This way if the same Contact has multiples of the same contact methods, you can distinguish them from each other.
The Contact Method Name value you enter will later be displayed to you when you are asked to select which contact method to send alerts to for each Monitor Contact. It is important that you enter a value that you will recognize later.
