Contact Method Supported for Alerts
We give you a couple options for receiving Alerts when your website or server encounters a failure. Here is the list of currently supported contact methods:
Standard Email - receive alerts at any standard internet email address.
SMS via Email - receive Alerts on any Cell Phone, Text Pager, or other mobile device that supports SMS messaging. This Contact Method requires you to use an email address provided to you by your mobile service provider to receive the SMS message. The way it works is that we send the SMS message in an email to this email address. Your service provider then receives this email and immediately sends it to your mobile device as a text message.
Phone Call - receive a phone call and a machine voice will speak the alert to you. This alert method is added to your account upon request. To request this alert method, contact Help Desk.
