Custom Monitor Goals

The Custom Monitor Goals field allows you to override the Service Goal set by your performance goal selected in the "Service Goal" drop down, and instead use a different custom Goal value for specific monitors. Monitors added into this section will have their compliance based on this time, rather than the overall service goal. The Performance Goal time is the allowed test time for your monitor to pass for that specific service goal. This option is especially good to use if your monitor was established for the purposes of monitoring a service to ensure it meets a specific response goal, or meets contract obligations that may have been outlined in a service agreement. You can establish multiple Service Goals to report on different contract needs, if necessary.
