Inactive Contacts

If a contact's status is set to Inactive, that contact will not be alerted about any monitor failures that may occur with the monitors to which they are connected as a Contact Alert. In order for a contact to receive error alerts, the contact must be set to a status of Active. You can recognize an Inactive contact in the Alerts Edit list because the contact information will be grayed out, the Alert Time field will read "Inactive Contact," and a warning icon next to the contact field will signify that the contact is currently inactive. In order to resolve this issue, the status of the Contact must be set back to Active. This can be accomplished by going into the Edit option for the Inactive Contact and using the Status dropdown list to make it Active.
