SMS Messaging Credits

SMS Messaging Credits are required to add the ability for a contact to be alerted through a Text Message via SMS Messaging. This feature allows you to receive alerts to a mobile device using that device’s mobile phone number, removing the need for the use of an Email-to-SMS Gateway.


If your total SMS Messaging Credits are exceeded, the first time this occurs, your account manager will reach out to you to discuss the overage and work with you to adjust your monitoring plan so that it accounts for all of the SMS alerts that you need. If overages continue to occur after the first time, you will be invoiced after the fact for any overages to make up the difference between what your monitoring plan allots and what you had actually used.


Unused SMS Messaging Credits do not “roll over.” The total amount used is assessed on a thirty-day window.
