Why was My Monitor Deactivated?
Question / Issue: My monitor was deactivated and I did not change the status in the manager? How could this have happened?
Symptoms/Cause: If your website or server experiences an extended period of downtime, our testing system is designed to automatically deactivate your Monitor if your website or server does not recover within 48 hours from the time the initial failure was detected.
Answer / Solution: If your monitor has failed for this extended period of time and our system automatically deactivated your monitor, you would have received an Alert notifying you of this action. When this happens, please note that this is not a negative issue. You can quickly and easily activate your monitor again by logging into the AlertBot Manager.
To reactivate your monitor, just go to your Monitor List in the AlertBot Manager and edit the "Monitor Info" section. From there, simply change the Monitor Status field to "Active" and save your changes. Your Monitor will immediately entered back into the monitoring schedule and start testing your website or server again.
